A financial product is only an instrument in your road to achieve financial freedom. The key to your financial well-being is in the actual process of planning for your future financial goals.
Just like how a medical doctor would assess a patient’s symptoms, pass a diagnosis and recommend a medical solution, as a financial doctor I help people see their overall financial health, recognise shortfalls and provide advice on appropriate financial solutions according to their unique situation.
Here is the 4-step DPIR planning process I take people through:
Discovery Meeting – The first meeting is for us to get to know one another. This includes understanding your life goals, financial needs and gathering of key information for the next step, the Planning Meeting.
Planning Meeting – A range of financial planning strategies will be worked out to address your concerns. Here is when you will understand how proposed recommendations will suit your requirements. Clarification and fine-tuning of strategies is also done here.
Implementation Meeting – This is when we will put in place all strategies and recommendations.
Review Meetings – These regular (at least once a year) meetings are to ensure everything is on track according to your plan and make changes where necessary.
